28. Prep Your work area, including cleaning and sanitizing your work area and all of your utensils. It is suggested that you wear gloves, protective clothing, and a hair net while preparing this recipe. Fill your bullet bottle with alcohol and place a sprayer on top.

Step 29

29. Prior to preparing this recipe, you will need to prepare these cold process soap flowers. We used 16 roses for this recipe.

Step 30

30. Step 1: Before you begin prepare your mold. Place a three-pound loaf mold in front of you. Prop it up and secure it so that it sits at a 45-degree angle.

Step 31

31. Step 2: Prepare the white layer. Weigh out and melt 570 grams of the shea butter melt and pour soap base. Once melted, add 28 grams of the Suede and Peony Fragrance Oil. Stir.

Step 32

32. Step 3: Pour the soap into the mold. You want to pour into the edge that is sitting on the tabletop. Spray the soap with alcohol to release air bubbles. Allow the soap to fully set up before moving on.

Step 33

33. Step 4: While you are waiting for your soap to set up, prepare your clay. In a small mixing bowl, add 7 grams of Kaolin white clay, 15 grams of vegetable glycerin, and 2 drops of tomato red FUN Soap Colorant. Stir. Set this aside, for now.

Step 34

34. Step 5: Now we will begin preparing the swirled layer. You will need two small bowls. In one bowl, add 380 grams of the shea butter melt and pour soap. In the second bowl, add 190 grams of the shea butter soap. Melt the soaps simultaneously.

Step 35

35. Step 6: Once both bowls of soap are melted, add 19 grams of Suede and Peony Fragrance Oil to the larger portion and stir. Then, to the smaller portion, add the clay mixture and 9 grams of the Suede and Peony Fragrance Oil. Stir.

Step 36

36. Step 7: Set your mold flat. Spray the first layer with alcohol. Put one bowl of melted soap in your right hand and one bowl in your left hand. Pour them simultaneously into the mold. Spray with alcohol and allow the soap to set up.

Step 37

37. Step 8: Prepare your whipped soap. Weigh out 150 grams of the whipped soap base. To the same bowl, add 15 grams of vegetable glycerin and 15 grams of the Suede and Peony Fragrance Oil. Stir to blend. Then, use a hand mixer to whip the soap to a whipped frosting consistency. Set aside, for now.

Step 38

38. Step 9: In a mixing bowl, weigh out and melt 150 grams of the shea butter melt and pour soap base.

Step 39

39. Step 10: Add the melted soap to the bowl containing the whipped soap. Once again, use the hand mixer to whip the soap.

Step 40

40. Step 11: Spray the soap in the mold with alcohol. Quickly add the whipped soap to the top and place the cold process soap flowers on top.

Step 41

41. Step 12: Dust the top with a very small amount of the mica. Allow the soap to finish setting up.

Step 42

42. Step 13: Remove the soap from the mold and slice it.

Step 43

43. Enjoy your beautiful Suede and Peony melt and pour soap!
