Q&A

My recipe for a face lotion calls for Aloe Vera Gel. What and how much do I add to this powder to create gel (or substitute)?
The usage rate is 1% - 10%, depending on your application and recipe. You can reference our Aloe Body Cream Recipe here for a guideline: https://www.naturesgardencandles.com/discover-learn/recipes/aloe-body-cream-recipe
What is the usage rate in face masks?
Hello and thank you so much for reaching out to us. We have included a link to one of our face mask recipes here: https://www.naturesgardencandles.com/discover-learn/recipes/turmeric-face-mask-recipe You may substitute the turmeric powder for aloe vera powder. Usage rate is about 1%-10% depending on your recipe. Let us know if you need anything else. Thank you and have a wonderful day! - Mary NG
Would you be able to give us usage rates in percentages?
Hi! What are you creating?
Three questions. How much do you use for lotions & or cold processed soap? Can you add this into a tea bag and infuse w/water? If yes, how much powder? I just don't want to use more than needed and certainly don't not want exfoliating feel.
Yes, you can infuse it this way if you would like or add it to your oil. I typically use about 1% when adding any type of herb to my soaps.
What is the concentration of this Aloe Powder? 100x ? 200x ? or 50x? (any info on reconstituting this powder would be helpful) I am just trying to figure out how and how much to use in my formulations. Thanks
Hello and thank you so much for reaching out to us. Our Aloe Vera Powder is raw plant powder. We do not have the concentrated powder. If you have any other questions, please let us know. Thank you and have a wonderful day! - Mary NG
