24. Colorants for Red Soap Batter:

25. 1 tsp Glistening Garnet Mica? tsp Onyx Sparkle Mica (mixed with a small amount of soaping oils)

30. Step 1: Prepare your lye solution. Allow the lye solution to cool to room temperature.

31. Step 2: While you are waiting for your lye solution to cool, prepare your soaping oils. Once your oils are melted, allow them to cool to room temperature.

32. Step 3: While you are waiting for your oils and lye solution to cool, prepare the colorants listed above. Once you have measured each colorant in a small mixing bowl, add a small amount of your soaping oils to each bowl. Stir.

33. Step 4: When both the soaping oils and the lye solution are at room temperature, combine them. Next, stick blend the soap batter to emulsify the ingredients. Then, add the Jingle Bells Fragrance Oil. Once again, stick blend your soap batter to incorporate the ingredients.

34. Step 5: Separate the soap batter into three equal portions. Add one of the colorants to each bowl. Blend the contents of each bowl. Step 6: Pour the soap batter into the mold. Begin with the red soap batter. Pour about 1 ounce of the soap batter directly into the center of the mold. Then, pour the green in the same manner. Repeat this process with the white batter. Repeat this process, alternating colors in this order until you have used all of the soap batter and filled the mold.

35. Step 7: Pull the tool out of the soap slowly. You want to pull it straight up. Move the tool slowly, it should take about 10 seconds to pull the tool all the way out. We found that we liked the details in the soap when we pulled at this speed. Gently tap the mold on your countertop to release any air bubbles in the mold.

36. Step 8: Allow the soap to set up before removing it from the mold. Cut the soap after about 48 hours using the mitre box and cutter. Allow it to cure. We hope that you enjoy this kaleidoscope cold process soap recipe!
