Directions

Step 1

Step 1: Clean and sanitize your work area and all of your packaging materials. It is suggested that you wear gloves, protective clothing, and a hair net while preparing this recipe.

Step 2

Step 2: Using a double boiler, melt the 75 grams coconut oil, 75 grams sweet almond oil, 75 grams shea butter, and 75 grams cocoa butter.

Step 3

Step 3: Mix the rose clay with a small amount of your oils and mix well. Set aside.

Step 4

Step 4: Allow the temperature of the oils to drop to 120F. Add 3 grams vitamin E oil, 1 gram rose clay, 4 drops lip tint and 9 grams Hot Pink Pomegranate Fragrance Oil. Mix well to blend all of the ingredients.

Step 5

Step 5: Now, cover the bowl and place it in the refrigerator until the mixture has solidified. It took ours about 2 hours.

Step 6

Step 6: Once solidified, use a hand mixer to whip the body butter. Whip until the butter is fluffy but holds its form.

Step 7

Step 7: Next, scoop the body butter into a piping bag with a Wilton Tip 1M. Pipe the body butter into the low profile 4 oz jars. Dust the surface with Diamond Dust Mica. Top with a lid.

Step 8

Step 8: Once you have filled all of the jars, your body butter is ready to use! Enjoy!
