If creating unique soaps is your thing, our activated charcoal powder will make a great addition to your soap additives tool kit. Activated charcoal is great for soap making and creates an attractive, rich black look that leaves you with a stunning final product. Used as a detoxifying agent and odor absorber, activated charcoal is also an effective exfoliant which makes it great for use in face masks, bar soaps, shampoo, and even bath bombs, body scrubs, and body wash (especially effective on oily skin). Our customers love the fineness of this powder and how easy it is to work with.

Great

"I’ve used this before in my soap and it’s great texture"

Excellent scrub!

"This charcoal is a wonderful gentle scrub in my coffee soaps that doesn't stain or discolor. It's just what I was looking for!"

Ann L. (5/5)

awesome!

"great product! works good in cp soap"

Kaitlin S. (5/5)

Just Wow

"Bought this to start making face masks. I doubt I'll end up selling any if I keep using it all. My toddler loves when I use this and makes me chase him yelling roar. My face feels amazing after using it! Can't believe it!"

Amanda S. (5/5)

Great natural additive to cold process soap

"I use 1 Tablespoon per pound of oil in my cold process soap (I add it to oil beforee adding lye solution. ) It turns out a deep, black color. Charcoal is naturally very absorbent so it is a bit drying and it best for oily skin."

Katy B. (5/5)

Activated Charcoal

"Great quality. I have used this product to make mascara and eyeliner. Truly this product fulfills my wishes of making natural eye makeup."

Ann J. (5/5)

Prefer AC to Black Oxide!

"I totally prefer activated charcoal to using black oxide. The AC does not make the soap lather turn dingy gray like black oxide can do."

Tiffany D. (5/5)

Good charcoal

"I love this charcoal! It's very fine, no clumps, and is perfect for black swirls in my cp soap!"

Ruth S. (5/5)

Not a deep black in soap.

"Oredered as my normal supplier was out. I love lots of Natures Garden scents, but this is not the charcoal for me. It is more gray than black in soap. Just my experience."
