Step 1

Before you begin, prepare your molds.  This recipe will make 2 candles, both a 3 x 4.5 inch and a 3 x 6.5 inch round pillar candle.  Thread a CD wick through the hole in the bottom of each of these pillar molds.

Step 2

Using a scale, weigh out and melt 40 ounces of the Palm Pillar Wax in your pouring pot.  Melt it to 210°F using a double boiler.

Step 3

When the wax reaches 210°F, add 5 drops of the blue liquid candle dye.  Stir.

Step 4

Add 4 oz. of the Menorah Glow Fragrance Oil. Stir.

Step 5

Pour the wax into the mold that you prepared. Allow the candles to cool very slowly.

Step 6

Allow the wax to mostly set up. You want it to be slightly set up, but still warm. Now, poke relief holes.

Step 7

Reheat the still remaining in the pouring pot to 210°F. Pour into the molds.

Step 8

Let the candles set up before removing them from the molds.

Step 9

Trim the wicks and place warning labels. Allow the candles to cure for at least 48 hours before burning.
