"I've purchased blood orange fragrance oils from other distributors and must say this one is my favorite. Spot on blood orange - not overly sweet. It's crisp and tangy. Love in MP, CP( no issues with batter). Have made wax melts & wax freshies - yummy and fragrant. Also, great HT in 464. Please NG don't ever change this formulation."

Great in Body Products, not so great in Candles

"I used this scent in a scent blend that I made for a Self Care Kit and it smells AMAZING OOB! So juicy and mesmerizing! LOVED this in my Body Butters, Soaps, Bath Salts, and Hair and Beard oils, but in the Candle, the fragrance basically disappeared. For that I had to take a star, but it has become one of my favorite fragrances all in all!"

Nice but a bit like cleaner

"This fragrance is a very nice blood orange, but has slight cleaner notes on the back end. I don't notice it in the final product as strongly as OOB. I use this in my rebatched mechanics scrub soap, so do not know how well it works in a regular CP recipe. I also use it in a foot scrub for a local pedicure salon, and the salon customers really love the scent."

No hot throw in soy wax.

"I LOVE this scent. Nice tart orange. Hard to find a blood orange that doesn't smell artificial or like candy. With that said, I tried so so many different trials, adding this in different amounts and temperatures, in 646 soy wax to get this to throw hot and was it was NEVER successful. I'm not sure why they claim it works well in soy wax? Orange is a very hard fragrance to get a successful hot throw from. I wish this one worked."

About the strong retention? I'm confused the scent goes away quickly. Strong means it goes away quickly or light?

Is it possible to use this fo for alcohol based perfume? I had experience with other fo which had high maximum usage percentage for perfume in their IFRA statement but it doesn't blend that well with my formulation
Hello! We always advise to follow the IFRA recommendations, and they advise 25% for perfume using this fragrance oil.
