"This fragrance is a super accelerator, at least for me. But still manageable if not doing anything intricate. Fragrance is spot on for carnation and scent retention after 10+ weeks is great."
"It's too bad. Nice enough when you first sniff, but as you exhale, there's a kind of citrus and Irish Spring thing that takes over. I know it's possible, another company (now retired) had a great, if seizy, Carnation."
"I've looked for a genuine carnation scent for a long time, and this is it. I make soy candles using Millennium Soy Wax, and I add 12% fragrance load to the candle, with two CD 12 wicks in 3. . 5 wide jars. This one throws well. I'd give it a strength and throw score of 8/10. This is a good score, as I tested it first in melts, with the same result. It blends well with other fragrances. I'd recommend adding just a hint of a peppery fragrance oil, and I mean just the slightest amount."
"A family friend loves carnation scents and they are very hard to find. In fact, this was the only solely carnation fragrance oil I could find! The scent is very unique, floral with a light spice. The notes and reviews are accurate, it does accelerate cold processed soap. So be ready to move quickly after you add this fragrance oil! Batter got chunky within a few seconds. It didn't ruin my batch, but only because I was expecting it and was prepared to move fast."
"It was very easy to use. It smelled wonderful and the candle turned out well. I'm glad I found you online and that you're local to me."
"I'm often skeptical about floral fragrances, as a lot of them can smell like perfume. This one smelled exactly like carnations. I made some wax melts with it and my customers keep asking me to make more, they absolutely love this fragrance. So it's definitely a hit with wax products. I have not tried it in soap yet but florals have a tendency to seize or accelerate so I may just continue using it just for wax products."
"Used my base recipe which I use for everyday soap. Have used many NG fragrances and this I must say was immediate acceleration. Literally did not rice, just set up in the measuring cup within 45 seconds and was instantly able to scoop in one piece (shape of measuring cup) onto paper towel to discard ( I don't re-batch). I intentionally soaped at 85 degrees because I am aware floral scents can and do accelerate; but never have I seen one this much, not even rose which is one of the worst for acceleration."
"To me this had an odd scent that was noticeable enough to distract from the floral component. I guess it could be the green scent that other reviews speak of. I just know that to my nose, it seems like it doesn't belong. The hot and cold throw in Pillars of Bliss was strong. I just wish I liked this one as much as some of the other reviewers."
