Inconvenient packaging
"The coconut oil itself is fine. It's just the jug it comes in, it's very difficult to use. You have to heat it up every time, and that takes forever. I decided to cut these open and put in another pail I had but it's not an easy task. The price is good though. I can recommend the actual product but the packaging should be upgraded to a pail for easy scooping."

One gallon
"I have used this oil before and I was very pleased with it. I decided to order it in a gallon size. I was quite taken aback that it was sent in a gallon jug. It is clear that coconut oil solidifies under 76 degrees. Hence, why I am baffled as to why it would not be shipped in a tub. So, I live in Michigan and eight months out of twelve I'll have to figure out how to get the oil out of this huge jug."
A hassle
"I would give it 5 but only gave 3 because it's not easily accessible. So I purchased the 16oz bottle, for my massage candles. Great oil but it was solid, I had to double boiled the whole bottle just to get the liquid. My suggestion like someone previously said put it in something else where it's more accessible that way smaller pieces can be broken of and melted instead of a whole melted bottle for only me needed 56 grams. So every time I use it I have to melt the whole bottle, Just a suggestion."

"I just have to say, Natures Garden has the best quality products and an unbeatable price! And the shipping is SO QUICK! I use this and other oils from NG for my CP soaps and they are the best. The coconut oil does come in a bottle type container as opposed to a jar type, so if its cold it gets solid. But it doesn't bother me since I melt it in the whole bottle over a warm water bath along with my palm oil to get them both liquid. I screw on a twist open pour spout to the bottle for easy dispensing as well and it works great!"
