"I was really disappointed in this soap. It melted gummy and was hard to work with, I thought it was because I used the microwave to melt. Just as gummy using a double boiler. It fought me too hard to make my Gingerbread Men so I won’t be repurchasing."
Great Soap base!
"I use the clear soap base and it works great for me. I use it in silicone and intricate hard plastic molds. It is also easy to creative with colors. I leave it over night to cure and it usually comes out great. Depending on the temperatures and humidity it may take a little coaxing in the hard plastic molds, but I expect that, as I have been making glycerin soap for 13 years. I would recommend this product and the 2lb packages are very convenient for small batches'. I have been using Natures gardens products for 12 years and love the quality of everything I have ordered."

"I received a 2 lb slab of the Diamond Clear Melt & Pour to make embeds with. It's horrible. It has the consistency (once set for hours) of silly putty. It is VERY soft, gummy, and would only harden completely to unmold after I put it in the freezer. I have tall column molds I use and they will not come out clean. I wasted a pound just trying to get one to unmold cleanly. This is worthless to me."

Lovely soap base
"I love this soap base so far! My local craft store stopped carrying soaping supplies (which used to be so very convenient!) so now I've ordered base from my favorite fragrance supplier. This melts quickly, and it becomes more clear than when it was just a slab once melted. My only concern is hardening is taking longer than I'm used to. Is this normal? I have tried a few different fragrances (from NG, of course!) and it's taking quite some time to harden. . ."

- Which is more clear, this Diamond clear or the Suds and Glow Clear (9.5/10)? I did not see a clarity rating for Diamond Clear.
- Hi Sarah! We've found the SudsNGlo consistently more clear and colorless -- the Diamond Clear may range in color from diamond clear clarity to yellowish/slightly cloudy.
- The 40lb case is a single 40lb block of soap or does it come in smaller pieces?
