This black soap dye is stable and non-bleeding and contains no carmine. It also performs well in high pH environments and won't morph during the saponification process. The pigment is dispersed in vegetable glycerin and may separate in the bottle. If that happens, just shake the bottle before use. We do not accept returns on soap colorants.

I just added a few drops to the soap (cold Process) and blended, start with a small amount because a little goes a long way. I just love the no mixing or mess and will be ordering more."

"Maybe I used too much of this in half of my 2 pounds of cp coffee soap. I layered colors Black Oxide & gold mica. Looks pretty & smells wonderful with Hazelnut Coffee Fragrance Oil. But the black color gets on wash clothes and looks like you are getting dirty in the shower. Not what I was going for, Lol. . ."
