Hello! For scoopable wax, we advise using our Golden Brands 464 Soy Wax.
Which Wax is Recommended for making Candle Molds, And appropriate Wick. And, Which Wax is Recommended for Container Wax. And Appropriate Wick? Sincerely
Hi Louis, there are specific waxes for each application, and each type of wax offers different characteristics, so it depends on your desired results and preference. Certain types of wicks work best for each wax. Mold candles require a harder type of candle wax that shrinks a bit for easy mold release such as Pillar of Bliss Wax or Palm Pillar Wax. CD wicks work well with both of these, or you can try HTP wicks. For container candles, we recommend Joy Wax or Golden Brands 464 Soy Wax. We recommend testing CD wicks. Is the soy wax 464 that is made in the US from US grown soy an irganic product?
Hi Cynthia, our 464 soy wax is considered natural but is not certified organic.
It can be used in silicone molds, for example flowers, etc.
Hi Joselin, 464 is for container candles and is not recommended for use in molds. It is formulated to adhere to the sides and is too soft. Try using a pillar wax instead!
Is this wax 100% hydrogenated soybean?
Hi Skai, 464 is pre-blended with soy-based additives to reduce frosting and enhance fragrance load.
