"This scent is divine in CP soap. It has a butterscotch/caramel scent but not too sweet. Under that is a the scent of comforting, warm spice. It's the kind of intriguing scent your nose returns to again and again. My CP recipe has a lot of liquid oils and I didn't notice any acceleration. It soaped perfectly for me. The FO discolors the soap to a light brown but I worked that into my design. I don't often keep a personal bar from the batches I make, but I'm holding onto one of these!"

Q&A

I absolutely love the smell of this but unfortunately after using vanilla color stabilizer for the first time I'd have to say , which I added the correct 3% , it actually altered the scent to a mint sweet type with honey. Yuck. My question is if this is actually what happened?? Did the stabilizer alter my CP soap?? If anyone likes mint it may be a keeper but that's definitely not what I wanted. I am so disappointed. I'm gonna have to try it again without the stabilizer and just use TD which I've always been able to trust and now I'm convinced I should have stayed away from the stabilizer altogether. To pay $22.00 for it is a lot of waste if that's what happened. The scent profile for this fragrance doesn't have mint so that's why I'm pretty sure the stabilizer did it. It smells awful. Thank you
Hi Jenia! The issue could be that you added the Vanilla Color Stabilizer at 3% rather than the manufacturer's recommendation of 0.3%. However, the different fragrance notes may not be present after your soap has cured. Please email info@naturesgardencandles.com for further assistance.
