"Joy Wax is the greatest invention ever in the Candlemaking world! It should come with a warning sticker that it is Addictive! In my 30+ years of making candles, I experimented with a number of waxes and I have found nothing to come close to Joy Wax! I think if you try it, you will stop looking because you have found THE wax for container candles!"

Excellent Kit
"This is by far one of the best candle kits I have purchased. I have had a hard time finding a wax that performs consistently, whether soy or parasoy. I have noticed that I don't get good glass adhesion but that doesn't bother me. I also have not tried adding the Crisco as mentioned. I would definitely say try this kit. I really enjoy working with the wax."

"I don't know if I did something wrong or not, but I followed the instructions and made four different kinds of candles. While they have a great cold throw, there is virtually no hot throw at all. Super disappointing and I don't really know what went wrong."

"I had tried to make my own candles before with no luck on my own. This kit by the way made it so simple. I love the cold and hot throw. Having directions helped. The kit was awesome. I made four of each of three different fragrances. One that I bought extra which was the muskadine grape, and I mixed the red and blue colors to make purple colored candles to go with the scent. I did use 1&1/2 ounces of that per one pound of wax to test the scent throw as comparrison to one ounce per pound. I did the vanilla silk w/out color and did the strawberry passion w/ red. They turned out awesome. Buy this kit you can't go wrong. Thank you Natures Garden."
Great for beginners
"The kit was a one stop ship with almost everything needed. I had a pouring pot at home and I purchased some additional fragrances and color blocks that were on sale so I had more options. As a first timer and a thorough researcher I decided to go with natures garden starter kit. The wax came in nicely stored aluminum pans so I could use as much as I wanted and put the rest away. Nice consistency even my boyfriend was impressed. I have only burned 1 tea light I made and it burned really nicely. I want to cure the candles for at least a week before I do a test burn on the larger ones. Kit was a winner. It came with 2 color blocks and a few fragrances. If you buy the kit I would also purchase a couple other fragrances you want to try and some additional color blocks to play with the scents and colors."

"Based upon customer requests over the years I decided to try my hand at candle making. This was my FIRST attempt at making candles to add to my product catalog. I had no expectations just a lot of hope that I didn't botch things and was a bit intimidated at first. I found this product kit after watching a tutorial by Cory O'Briant with Sunshine Soap & Candles. She has been making candles for years and been through several different waxes. In that vid she spoke highly of this new wax she was working with called Joy Wax. Her tutorial was great her candles came out lovely so I thought, what the heck, why not start here. Ordered the kit (minor glitch in shipping BUT Elizabeth handled things nicely and YES timely! Thank you Elizabeth. ) The candles I made smell fantastic, burn evenly, have really good cold throw and a nice scent when burned. Now, for my first efforts, I thought they were visually appealing as well as the wax was super easy to work with so I was able to make marble candles on my first endeavor! Yippy! Wish I could add a pic of them for you to see :) Cory was correct, this is a really good wax for BOTH the novice and the pro!"

- Hi, I'm Trace. I just want to ask this important question. I'm getting ready to start using this wax for making candles. Jars I want to use is 3" Diameter straight sided jars and I want to use CD wick but not sure what size wick is to use for this journey wax. Can you please give some informations on this? Thanks
- Hi! You will need to test as any additive (fragrance oil, color, vybar, etc.) can factor into your wick size. However, with a 3 inch diameter, we recommend testing a CD 10 first. If needed, you can always bump up to a CD 12. Just remember the goal is to create a melt 1/4"-1/2" deep. If your wick is too large it can burn the scent off before it hits the air. If the wick is too small, it might not burn hot enough to create the full melt pool.
- Can I use Joy wax for tin candles? If so what size wick should I use for 8oz tins?
