Smells like pledge

"This scent smells like pledge or a cleaning product of some kind. I was hoping for a sweet candy lemon scent since it was lemon sugar but that is not at all what this is. It may be good for candles to give your home a fresh scent but i make bath products so it wasn't quite what i was looking for."

Better after 24 hours

"Smelled good OOB. Used a 25/75 blend with Basil, Sage, Mint FO in CP soap and the lemon was initially overpowering. The whole house smelled like Lemon Clorox wipes! After 24 hours the fragrance settled in and it's actually quite nice. The lemon did overpower the herb scent even at a lower percentage of the FO. I Like it enough I'm gonna keep playing with it. No problems with acceleration, ricing or discoloration."

"This is a very lemony fragrance not to heavy on the sweetness. I thought it smelt a little strange in the bottle but once in soap the lemon really popped. I have used it in CP soap and the performance was great and M&P and both sell very well. A keeper for the spring/summer range. Debbie :)"

"OOB it does smell a little like cleaning supplies, but as it's curing, I'm really starting to like the smell - just like the name, lemon sugar (but still hasn't a 'soapy' smell that is hard to explain but not bad)."

"This fo smells like a cleaner of some sort. I honestly think I got a rancid one. It caused orange spots in my cold process and ruined a whole batch of soap. The smell was so overwhelming and chemical like."

Hi Cristin, this information is in the column on the right-hand side of the page (under Fragrance Specifics). Lemon Sugar is phthalate-free.
