Our natural vanilla infusion oil can be used to create homemade products that have the wonderful aroma of natural vanilla. Vanilla is a calming, relaxing scent and this vanilla oil will make a great addition to your list of ingredients. This infusion is a clear to slightly hazy yellow looking liquid and it is soluble in oil. It is packaged in amber glass bottles and aluminum bottles, but it's important to note that our natural vanilla infusion does not hold up during the saponification process of cold process soap making.

Best vanilla I've encountered

"I've used this in my cold process soaps and it does actually hold up extremely well. It's a huge favorite. Very creamy scent, reminds me of pure Mexican vanilla you can buy for baking. I blend this up in some recipes I use for CP soap, and it works. Very warm, sensual. Itd be perfect as a massage oil too!"

Nice!

"My primary focus is on blending for perfumery - solids, oils, and in perfumer's alcohol. I like to use certain notes to infuse a carrier with (say cocao absolute or vanilla Co2) and then use that infused carrier as a base for some of my blends because it adds a very rich element to a perfume oil. I ordered an ounce of this infusion mainly out of curiosity and to play around with it as a base for a couple of perfumes. I'm very pleased with the results and will definitely be purchasing more! It saves me the hassle and expense of infusing my own. The scent is quite rich and very much vanilla bean, not super sweet candy or bakery vanilla the way that vanilla Co2 is. They both have their place in my perfumery arsenal, and this infusion is going to come in very handy! Thanks, NG!"

Smells Great but Faint

"Was excited to get the vanilla but it fell short. The aroma is nice but it is very faint. Did not carry in my products very well (perfume, soap, lotion etc. )"

Q&A

Do you need to use the vanilla stabilizer oil with this product? If used alone, without the stabilizer, will my products turn brown-ish in color?
Hello! All products containing vanillin and/or ethyl vanillin will discolor products.
How many drops of essential oil is recommended per pound of candles wax? I use both Soy and palm wax.
Hi! Unfortunately, this is something that you would need to test on your end. It will vary from essential oil to essential oil as well as with the wax itself.
Is this lip safe if added to lip balm?
Hello and thank you so much for reaching out to us. Yes, you can add the Natural Vanilla essential oil to lip balm, but you still want to make sure you are following the IFRA certificate to see what the maximum usage is for this category. If you have any additional questions, please let us know. Thank you and have a great day! - Mary NG
