Pillar of Bliss is a great wax

"It’s the first time I’ve used a pillar of Bliss. The color is so white. It makes a great ice cream candle. It also holds form very well. It has a good cold throw and hot throw."

Favorite wax

"Besides having shipping issues that were resolved this wax is by far my favorite, it holds scent very well, holds color very well and demolds very easily."

Denise O. (4/5)

Best Wax Blend

"After 5 months of testing various blends, including my own, I tried Pillars of Bliss. The results blew me away. I used the wax in melts by following the directions for melt, color, fragrance, and pour temps. I waited two weeks for the melts to cure before testing them. This wax provides the best hot and cold throw out of everything I have tried. I truly am amazed and am excited about candle making again."

My go to wax for my pillar candles

"Pillar of Bliss has been my go to wax for my pillar candles for years. It melts easily, very little shrinkage as it dries, and no tunneling. It is also easy on my molds. It releases pretty well even on the fine parts of my little highland cows like the ears and horns, reducing breakage and repours. To add to the quality it is also reasonably priced."

Nellie (5/5)

Q&A

How long do you cure this after pouring
We always recommend curing wax for at least 2 days. Try a minimum of 24-48 hours at room temperature before unmolding.
What temperature should I pour my second pour for cupcakes? And do you have a cupcake candle recipe?
Hi, your first pour should be around 175°F. Allow the candles to cool naturally at room temperature; slight sinking in the center is normal. Once set, reheat the reserved wax to about 165°F and top off each candle to fill any sinkholes for a smooth, even finish. For best results, pre-warm molds to roughly 150°F to promote a consistent surface texture. How long do you suggest we stir once we pour in the fragrance oil? I know the average I hear is 2 minutes, but is that necessary for Pillar of Bliss? Thanks!
We recommend stirring for a minimum of 2 minutes in any wax to ensure it is fully incorporated.
So I'm wondering - I usually use Palm pillar wax, and I accidentally ordered pillar of bliss wax 😯 . Can these two wax types mesh well together ? I haven't topped off my candle since I ran out or very low with the Palm pillar wax , but not sure if pouring this wax on top of it will work ... 😬
Hi Theresa, it would be better to mix the melted waxes rather than pour in layers because palm pillar wax needs a higher heat to melt. You may have trouble wicking appropriately in terms of safety and/or performance.
I’m using Pillar of Bliss to make clamshell wax melts. What’s the trick to prevent sinking tops? Should I be “double pouring” the melts like it’s suggested for tge pillars or something else? Thanks
Allowing it to cool very slowly. You can also do a second pour. You cannot completely prevent it as pillar waxes are made to shrink so that they easily release from a mold
