Our powdered stevia sweetener with maltodextrin makes a great addition to a variety of different homemade creations. Stevia is generally considered a safe and healthy sugar substitute that can be used to sweeten drinks, food, and other products without the same negative effects as refined sugar. Stevia is derived from the leaves of a plant species called Stevia rebaudiana, and the active compounds are heat stable and pH stable, with roughly 50 to 300 times the sweetness of sugar. Our powdered stevia sweetener comes in portion sized sugar-like packets for easy use and to prevent any type of contamination.

Stevia Packets

"This is a great item. I use this for my lip balms and it great! I highly recommend this product"

How I make it work

"So I have used this and it has worked for me. I added it to the base as soon as it goes into the double boiler. When the base is fully melted I use a cheese cloth to strain the mixture and I have not complaints. I use 1 sachet to a pound of base. I love it. My only issue is that it gets hard too soon if not used up."

NOT MEANT FOR LIP BALM! But okay for Bar soap

"I was very disappointed with this item! It did not sweeten and the more I put the gritty it got at the bottom. Waste of money for lip balm was great for bar soaps I like using sugar to leave a sweet taste on skin. So I guess it wasn't a total waste"

HORRIBLE!

"Do not purchase this stuff! It will leave your lip balm VERY gritty, no matter what you do. I even tried crushing it with a spoon in a bowl to make it more of a powder. Still no good. Save yourself some time and money and do not purchase this!"

The good the bad

"Vanessa Somerville · Self-employed at Acceleration Personal Training Studio I purchased this product as well, i too like most of you found it gritty. The interesting thing is the balms made with this product are really moisturizing and sink into the lips. The second batch of the same balm i made without the stevia - sits on top of your lips and they still feel dry underneath. I wonder is this because of the gentle abrasive action helping the oils sink in a wee bit further. Today i experimented using a mortar and pestle and crunched it up really finely i put both crushed and uncrushed into a wee bit of oil to compare. The uncrushed is definately a lot more course, the fine power is still slightly gritty i think passable. I also think may be as it finer it doesnt appear to be sinking to the bottom quite as much"

Really bummed

"I was excited to make my first batch of lipgloss and I do not taste even the tiniest bit of sweetness. I'm disappointed in this product."
