The smell of red currant and more. . .

"My usual supplier of red currant discontinued their supply, so I was forced to look elsewhere, and discovered Nature's Garden. I ordered a sample of the oil, and it seemed fine so I ordered a 16 ounce bottle. Sadly, the 16 ounce bottle had a hint of a cat urine smell to it. After researching, I did come across some information saying that red currant that has a mix of black currant can have a urine smell because of certain chemical compounds. At any rate, I wanted to avoid writing a negative review, but nearly 3 weeks after sharing my experience with the company, there has been no resolve. I figured the people should know."

Amazing!

"I would give this 10 stars! I have purchased several red currant fragrances trying to match a candle that I love. Was always disappointed until now, this fragrance smells the same as the votivo candle! I'm so impressed, making a whole line of body products with it and bees wax and coconut oil melts, will make your shop and home smell divine! It's one of those fragrances clients just can't get enough of! Awesome job Natures garden!"

"I prefer to leave excellent reviews but when something smells bad IMO I have to say so lol I did not like this one from the first whiff OOB. I know we can't judge FO's on that so I added it to my parasoy wax for tarts. After curing and adding to my melter these smelled TO ME like tomato plants in the garden. Personally I don't want my house to smell like that. I couldn't even mix it with other FO's to make it reasonable. This is by far the worst scent I've purchased yet. However scent is subjective, others may love it so I really wouldn't want to turn away a potential buyer. Thankfully there's always sample bottles!"

Crisp & Tart - Very Unique

"I made CP soap with this scent. The fragrance was very workable and did not accelerate in my all veg soap recipe. I colored this batch a rose pink color and have not noticed any morphing of the color after a week. The scent itself is very complex and hard to describe. It makes me think of something you might find in an upscale bath shop like Crabtree & Evelyn. It's strong without being overpowering and the tartness makes my mouth water every time I sniff it. I do get an underlying presence of rose but I wouldn't call this a floral scent, I do get tart berry but I can't say it's fruity either. It's very unique. I love it and if it sells well I will probably expand it to body creams and keep it in stock."

My all-time favorite fragrance ever

"I've been in love with this fragrance since BBW made a similar one years and years back. I actually built a haircare business with it as a signature fragrance. It's so hard to describe - there is fruit, there is an herbal tone, there is a freshness - it's a wonderfully complex fragrance. I finally tried it in CP soap and it performed beautifully. No acceleration, no discoloration, and it is holding up well during the cure. The next time I buy this will be the largest bottle I can afford. I never want to be without it. I have tried many other suppliers, and while they were nice, they didn't come as close to what I was looking for as this one does. I am ecstatic to find this one which is very very close to the original and is performing well in my products."
