Very clean Spring type scent with just the right grass notes!

"Have had a few customer requests for fresh cut grass candles. I chose Sweet Grass as my first stop and am so glad I did. This f/o is medium on the strong rating according to my nose. Nice cold & hot throws alike. I do smell the grass, clover and wisteria, none overpower the other for me. Great one to keep on my short list! Used in joy wax. Awesome job NG!"

Not a dupe of real sweet grass. . .

"I am looking for a fragrance oil that is a close match to real sweet grass, Hierochloe odorata. This FO has a sweet, clean, and green scent -- very nice -- but in comparison with real sweet grass, this FO is decidedly different. Freshly dried sweet grass has stronger notes of hay and vanilla and is not as perfume-sweet. I will use this FO in soap and will enjoy it for its own charm, but I will keep looking for a better match to the scent of real sweet grass."

"The scent smells very nice and clean. It soaped beautifully for me. It was not a huge seller, but I think it deserves five stars for how well it performed in cold process soap and stayed strongly scented long after cure time."
