Directions

Step 1

1. Clean & Sanitize your work area and all of your packaging materials. It is suggested that you wear gloves, protective clothing, and a hair net while preparing this recipe.

2. Prior to creating the beard oil, you will need to create an herbal infusion. While there are a few ways you can create an herbal infusion, here is our process for this recipe.

3. Add both the Eucalyptus and Rosemary to a small pot. Next, weigh out the fractionated coconut oil. Pour this over the herbs in the smaller pot and place a lid on top, set aside.

4. Next, place some water into the larger pot. You want to have at least 3-4 inches of water. Next, place the large pot onto the stove top on the lowest setting of heat possible.

5. Place the smaller pot into the larger one. Although it is essential to keep the small pot lidded the entire time it is heated, you will want to monitor the oil infusion and stir it occasionally. You will want to let the oil infusion simmer slowly for 30 minutes to an hour. Do not allow water to get into your infusion.

6. Once this time period has passed, remove the smaller pot from the larger one. Allow the oil infusion to reach room temperature and then place the oil infusion into the mason jar and lid.

7. Although technically, once the herbs have simmered, you may strain them out and use the oil infusion once it reaches room temperature. We however wanted a very strong oil infusion so we let the oil infusion set and steep for an additional 4 weeks after double boiling.

8. Once you are ready to use your infusion you will need to strain out the herbs using cheesecloth. Do not forget to apply pressure to the drenched herbs to get out as much oil as you can.

9. 2. In a mixing bowl, weigh out 247 grams of the Fractionated Coconut Oil infusion, 90 grams Argan Oil, 90 grams Jojoba Oil, 19 grams Castor Oil, and 5 grams of the Dad Bod Fragrance Oil.

10. 3. Stir to fully blend the ingredients.

11. 4. Next, place a funnel in your first bottle. Then, fill your bottle. Repeat this process to fill each bottle.

12. 5. Place a lid on each bottle.

13. Your beard oil is now ready to use. Enjoy!
