"This scent smells absolutely nothing like the name. No apple, no butter, and no pie. It smelled like a truly terrible potpourri from the early 90's. Husband hated it; the kids and I were gagging. It went straight in the trash. This one is a HUGE miss."
"This is the worst FO I have ever used - it basically separated the whole mixtures and never blended well at all. This is not recommendable for CP and nature's garden should remove that from CP results - waste of raw material ingredients and FO"

"Strong bakery fragrance; strong apple scent; some type of chemical background though. In my CP soap, after the incubation period, I nearly panicked because I thought that my soap had failed: there was a thin layer of oil on top of my mold! I tested this layer of oil with PH strips, which showed a reading of 3? I sliced into bars and let them sit for a day. Came back and tested each bar with a PH strip and each bar was perfect, reading PH 7. What this showed me, is that this fragrance can cause separation but the separation does not automatically mean your soap has failed or that the separation is due to loose lye. It seems that the fragrance is absorbing nicely back into each bar and smelling up my study den. I'm letting these bars remain in my wax paper-lined shoe box for about a month before I use. Can someone at Natures Garden Candles tell me: is there any amount of real apple in your Apple Butter Pie fragrance? Thanks"
"I tried this fragrance twice in cold process and was so very disappointed both times. IT smells amazing so might be good in other items but in cp it it accelerates really bad, it rice's, and separates horribly. I got this scent for my soaps that look like desserts and a fall soap. The first time it accelerated really quick and as I poured it into my mold I saw the riceing and separation happening so I put it back in my bowl and mixed for a few minutes and it came back together so I didn't worry about it and after in the mold about an hour later I saw there was oil just sitting on top which eventually soaked back in and everything was fine. So my second batch I was ready for all this to happen again and worked around it but this time I mixed for 10 minutes and it would not come back together, I walked away and came back to try to mix it some more but it would not come together. I am so disappointed that I spent the money for this and that it says it doesn't have any of the issues that I ran into when it so clearly does."
