I loved the time I had to work with this one!

"I had a 3 color drop swirl into white CP soap planned for this fragrance. Y'all I could have used 10 colors and still had plenty of time to work! I soaped at 85-90 (which is my normal) and brought it to emulsion. I added the fragrance and stick blended a bit more to incorporate it. I separated the batter into the color containers. When I poured the design it was still really fluid. Probably a bit too much! I might have muddled the colors together! Guess I'll find out for sure tomorrow. Anyway, there was no ricing, no acceleration (in fact, it decelerated for me) and I have yet to find out if the scent sticks because I just made it. I made a 12 lb batch and even with doing TBW, I only used 1. 40 oz. I sincerely hope it does, because I loved how much time I had to work with it! NG for the win once again!"

Q&A

The max use rate for Australian Bamboo Grass in soap is .8% and I make CP soaps. Is this even enough to be noticeable after the cure? I see lots of reviews where people are using .75 - 1oz per lb. of soap and that is more than double the recommended amount if my math is correct. I just see mixed reviews on scent retention and the ones that state that scent disappeared don't mention their use rate and some of the reviews that claim that the scent stayed used way more than the recommended .8%. I could use some guidance, thank you! Melissa S.
Hi and thank you for reaching out. This fragrance oil has a Maximum Use of 0.8%. We cannot advise on any recipe using more than the maximum usage. It does have a strong scent retention. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
