"I was sooo excited to try this one that I forgot to check the usage rate and used it at the full 5% that I normally use. Ricing and seizing ensued. That said, I will order another bottle and try again, using the product correctly. It does smell absolutely divine, so zero complaints there."

Not in CP

"Love the fragrance but not for CP. Not only does it accelerate but it also rices. Soaped at room temp with mostly liquid oils. Starts out like things are going to be ok but very fast it is riced completely and very thick. It also heats up and will have glycerin rivers. Keep it for candles. This is the first time I have every had a FO from natures garden I couldn't make work."

Terrible Ricing

"This fragrance riced terribly and accelerated (which I was expecting), the Ricing took me by surprise though. It was impossible to blend it because of the amount of acceleration, I didn't want it to seize because it smells so great. I just plopped it into the mold and hoped for the best. So far it hasn't heated up which I was expecting because it's so similar to the magnolia fo. It's one if my favorite florals though, I'll try it in body butter or candles."

Birds of paradise in cold process

"First let me say that I LOVE the scent and honestly wish I could slather myself in it. Now the not so good. . . Sadly, this fragrance oil did rice and accelerate the trace of my cold process soap. I truly wish I did not have to say it, but I wanted others to be aware of this. I will continue to use this fragrance in my melt and pours though. Nature's garden, you are still my favorite fragrance distributer in all ways! Thank you for having such a wide variety of scents to choose from!"

Very lovely strong floral scent.

"If you love tuberose, you will love birds of paradise. A hint of tropical a lot of floral (wish it were more on the citrus notes as described). I love it and hope my wax tart melt customers do too! May be a runner up for joy wax candles also for me."

Not good for CP soap

"I was all set with my colours etc to make this soap. It riced immediately! As soon as it hit the batter. I was filming a YouTube video too. I have published the video anyway so others are aware. Nice scent but best suited to other products."

Birds of Paradise Fragrance Oil

"I'm not a viewer, I'm your customer, I order with an address in the US. Soaping for me is a relaxing activityf, well, not with this fragrance. I read all the reviews before formulating, I reduce as much as I could the hard oils, room temperature, my design was going to be beautiful, ready to start soaping. As soon as I added the fragrance, my mix started to harden, trying to incorporate was difficult, no time to swirl at all, I ended up spooning all my colors one over the other. The only thing about birds of paradise will be the fragrance and the colors. I can't wait to unfold the soap to see how it came out, I hope not ugly, the fragrance is delicious! I'm pretty sure this fragrance will be very nice for lotions ans scrubs but definitely, NOT for CP soap!"
