Did someone used this fragance oil in the cold process soap making?: Hi Marie, we have not yet tested this fragrance in CP soap but recommend no more than 5% usage rate. The vanillin will most likely discolor CP, and we always suggest small-batch testing along with reading the reviews of other customers.
Is there a reason this is untested for cold process? I want to use it but do not want to waste ingredients if it is not compatible with the process.: Great question! I made Christmas soap with this scent and peppermint, the white part was the peppermint and green and red swirl Christmas Memories and I wanted to make a matching candle. If I use this fragrance with white coconut and paraffin wax blend will it turn the wax tan from the vanillin or do I color it?
