Reviews

great tropical coconut blend

"I've used this one for yrs for my body care products. love this craziness scent. Perfect balance of tropicals and holds well."

Rachel (5/5)

Nutty for coconut

"I don’t even add color to my cp. this comes out a gorgeous coconut color all on its own every time. It does move fast though so cooler temps are a must"

Misty (5/5)

Perfect one

"This one Coconut Vanilla is just great! Very strong and complex fragrance. Performs great in CP soapmaking, does discolor but I mention it in soap design and use Vanilla Stabilizer. Amazing CT and HT in candles. Great scent retention! Highly recommend!"

S. D. (5/5)

Coconut craze

"This work well in my wax melts. Love the fresh aroma. Gave a strong hot and cold throw"

Lydia F. (5/5)

One of my best sellers!

"I absolutely love this fragrance. It's a best seller for me and I use it in CP, HP, lotion bars, and body butters. The scent retention is great, even after the cure in CP but oh boy does it accelerate and rice! I now only use it in HP and I do not color or try to do any designs when using this fragrance."

Tomeka C. (5/5)

Good scent - ill behaved in soap

"Nice coconut fragrance - in both soleseife AND plain ol' cp soap this one riced like crazy which of course led to stick blending that out and a faster moving soap so BE READY and don't be trying any super crazy designs with this one. Sells well - especially when customers want just coconut and not anything overly complicated - but has been a tidly wee bit of a challenge to soap with ;)"

Bobbie K. (3/5)

Horrible

"Used this in a tried and true CP recipe. I soap at room temp. . . It riced immediately and moved right to seizing. It also Faded into oblivion immediately. Turned the soap a toasted coconut color Zero coconut scent 4hrs later. I tried it again in a different recipe with the same results. So dissapointed."

Utterly ruined a batch

"This scent smells great but accelerated rapidly in CP soap at ~105F. If that was all, I wouldve rated this fine with a warning, since we got the soap into the mold and even got the design to work out. However, once cut, the soap was separated inside and had huge oil pockets throughout (something I've never had happen before) and we lost the whole 5 lb loaf. Extremely disappointed with this FO, I really thought I'd found a good coconut scent."

Jen N. (1/5)

Strong Throw

"Coconut is a doozy. It is very rare you'll be able to find a coconut scent that throws exceptionally because the scent itself is pretty light. I don't know what kind of magic natures garden worked, but the throw on this is ridiculous. I made wax melts with this and within two minutes of melting, the scent was already wafting to my nose. I would like to say though that this scent is really close to vanilla coconut, rather than being just coconut with subtle vanilla notes."

Courtney J. (5/5)

Not for CP soap!

"I would happily live with the Vanillin discoloration if this was an awesome Coconut Fragrance as the name implies. But this Coconut Craziness Fragrance Oil is a poor choice for CP soap It smells like a cheap candle. There is more vanilla bean than true coconut."
