"I purchased this FO because it was advertised as skin-safe. , upon arrival, I was deeply disappointed. In my opinion, the scent was absolutely horrible. I kept it, thinking I would use to test out formulas, but I could not tolerate the smell. I am unsure if it was bad oil or if this was the actual scent. Ultimately, I ended up throwing it out in the garbage."
"This smelled fairly authentic in the bottle. After cure though (cold-process), it's very hard to smell it. I'm hoping my customers are suggestible enough that they will smell it just from the name. Not something I will buy again."
"I've always known ginger to have a bright, spicy citrus smell and this is nothing at all like that. I did give it four stars because it behaves beautifully in CP soap and the scent really holds up well."
