"I was very disappointed with this fragrance in cold process soap. The scent faded rapidly during cure and was extremely weak by the time the soap was ready to use. Within a short time after curing, the fragrance was virtually nonexistent. While the scent out of the bottle was pleasant, the retention in cold process soap was poor enough that I can't confidently sell products made with it."

"I was so excited for this fragrance oil to arrive, but I am a bit disappointed OOB. It is identical to Vanilla Wafer. It smells good, but I already have a few large bottles of VW in my studio, so I didn't need 16oz more. Just be aware that if you have one of these scents, you really dont need the other. I cant give it 5 stars unfortunately due to being a 1:1 for another oil that I already own, but if I didnt already have vanilla wafer, I would otherwise give it 5 stars because it does smell very good. It also is not a photorealistic birthday cupcake. It is more rich vanilla sugar gourmand. Not very fluffy. I might try to mix it with a bit of coconut fragrance to hone in on a more accurate vanilla cake scent for my birthday soaps and candles. I do recommend this oil, but not if you already have Vanilla Wafer."
