Potent and FAST.

"It feels like a million years ago I first made a CP soap with this fragrance and I was so shocked when my soap started to seize. It had happened before but that soap had so many other issues, I considered that whole batch a fluke. So when this one started seizing I was so bewildered. But, I know so much more now lolI didn't even know what acceleration meant when it happened to me the first time and despite that being months ago, I'm only now checking to see if this accelerates. And it does lolIts a wonderful scent and a crowd favorite but be prepared to make a one color soap that you may have to smash into a mold. Its VERY fast üòÖ"

Soaps beautifully but not my favorite leather

"This smells exactly like described. I had zero issues with acceleration or ricing. . . it soaped beautifully and I made a 20 pound, 2 color batch poured over 4 molds. I didn't personally like this leather fo compared to others I've used, so I knocked off a star, but it performed very well. 5 star performance, 4 star smell."

Leather. More like PLEATHER :/

"Used this in 464 soy wax candle. . . smelled terrible to me like SUPER FAKE leather jacket you would buy at a department store. I had a few people say they thought it smelled like REAL leather, which was SUPER surprising to me, but the general opinion was that it was a terrible smell. If i try mixing this with something and get a better result, I will update my review."

A potent late bloomer

"Man this is something else! OOB it can be off-putting in a plasticky, rubbery, toluene-ish way, but after a day of curing it has transformed into a really truly authentic black leather scent. I paired it with a little Fireplace and Nag Champa oils and couldn't be more pleased with the result. A little definitely goes a long way, I used about 4 mL in a 3. 2 lb batch of soap and it is STRONG. Will definitely repurchase"

Smells great but not good in CP soap

"Not good in CP soap. Ruined a whole 4lb batch of soap. I was making football soaps for my grandson and couldn't even get it in the mold before it riced and totally seized on me! Very unhappy with this 4 oz bottle I just bought 2 days ago! I know it's not my recipe because I have used this recipe a million times and this has only happened to me 1 other time when I used fragrance oils from Catalina. . . which I will never buy from again!"

Never again

"I have NEVER in almost 20 years of soaping had a scent behave so badly! I received this scent today, and since I already had a batch of soap planned, I decided this would be the perfect scent for it. Almost as soon as I added the fragrance, it began to rice and seize. It caused the soap to start gelling in the pot! As I tried stuffing it in the mold, all I could think was how much of a mess I was creating. This is definitely NOT a keeper for me!"
