Doesn't Smell Like Lemongrass

"Was excited that NG had a Lemongrass FO, I typically soap with the EO, but figured I give the fragrance a try. Smells nothing like Lemongrass and made my soap quite gummyâ€it was nearly impossible to get out of the mold even after a few days."

Amy Q. (2/5)

Nice and lemony, but separates

"I like this FO and have used it twice in the last few months. It doesn't accelerate (I soaped cool anyway), but it does develop a grainy texture, along with oil wanting to separate out †especially in the yellow portion of the soap. I stickblended it back in, but there was still slight seepage. After cutting the bars, the oil reabsorbed after a few days on the curing shelf. But within 24 hours the yellow developed a brownish, grainy-looking texture. . . we'll see if it does that again in this latest batch. The soap was not spoiled, but not quite what I was hoping for. Still, it's a pleasant lemon fragrance and I keep using it."

What are the safe usage rates for Cold Process soap making> I see people have written reviews for this and that is what i bought it for but i cant find anywhere on the site what a safe usage rate would be for soap. Thanks for the help
Hi! This information can be found in the "Fragrance Usage" section below the description to the right. We recommend a maximum of 5% fragrance oil when using this fragrance oil in soap.
