"I do love me an "everything included" kit and this one did not disappoint. Initially this purchase was for myself, but I decided to have a girl's day with my tween nieces. The instructions are straightforward and simple enough to hold the attention of two tween girls who would rather be on their tablets than read directions. The customization options are also a huge bonus. One niece doesn't like fruity scents. Thankfully, I had many Nature's Garden scents on hand to please everyone. My sister and I liked the silky, spray lotion while the tweens used their creation as hair mist. We all enjoyed the quality time and being able to create something beautiful together."

What are the ingredients for labeling?

The ingredients for each product in this recipe are: Soy Body Butter: Distilled water, sunflower oil, soya oil, vegetable glycerin, stearic acid, cetyl alcohol, emulsifying wax, palmitic acid, tocopherol (vitamin E), potassium sorbate, meadowfoam oil, jojoba oil, soya milk, aloe vera, vitamin C, citric acid, Germall Plus. Da Bomb Soap Dye: These colors can be mixed together to create an array of colors. When mixing colors, be sure to mention all of the colors you mixed together when you label your products. For labeling purposes in the US, you will want to place the INCI name of your dyes on your label as applicable. For this fragrance oil, you can find all of the documents on the right hand side of the page. We hope this answers your questions, but please reach out if you have other questions.
Does the lotion base contain a preservative?
Hi! Our multi bases and soy body butter contain germall plus perservative. According to the chemist who helped to create and patent Germall Plus, the recommended percent of Germall Plus in cosmetic products is .1 to .2% to effectively preserve the cosmetic product (considering that sanitary measures are taken when making your products). Germall Plus has also been scientifically proven in lab tests to show no adverse skin irritations when using up to 5% of Germall Plus in cosmetic products. When diluting the multi base to create your cosmetic products, it is important that you have a sanitary work environment. The percent of Germall Plus in our multi base is effective for the dilution rates we discuss. Some customers desire to add extra Germall Plus to the lotion spray, but according to the chemist, the recommended percent is only .1 to .2%.
Do you need to add a preservative?
