BEST SELLER!

"This is one of my best-selling fragrances, and it's the one fragrance my dad tolerates (Which is a huge win)! It works wonderfully in paraffin, para-soy blends, and 100% soy wax, with a beautiful biting grape fragrance and tart raspberry. It really does smell like a merlot. (Note: I use 0. 3 ounces of fragrance per 5 ounces of wax. )"

Performed well Smells like Cherries

"I was hoping to make CP soap, Sugar Scrubs and Bath bombs for a show at a Winery. Unfortunately the fragrance is more like cherries than Merlot. The Fragrance is nice in CP after the cure and mellows out well, but still has more of a cherry fragrance. Not sure that I will be able to call it Merlot in bath bombs and scrubs though. It performed great in Cp with no issues at all."

Grape scent

"Honest and true review - smells like grapes right out of the bottle. Used at 5% in cold process soap and after 6 weeks fragrance has a mild scent retention (all that's left is a light grape smell). Used at recommended 5% in melt and pour soap and after 6 weeks there is a stronger scent retention. While washing (using the soap), a light grape scent comes through along with a slight mineral carrier oil smell as well. Overall a mild grape fragrance with no adverse effects when soaping."

Smells NOTHING like Merlot

"I purchased this oil because of all the positive reviews but was sadly very disappointed in this fragrance. It smelled horrible out of the bottle, my husband described it as cleaning solution and I thought it smelt like cough syrup. I decided to give it a fair chance and make a candle with it hoping it would smell better, but unfortunately it still smelled horrible. I'm not sure what kind of Merlot this is supposed to be imitating, but its definitely not similar to the one I drink. Yuck!"

Had High Hopes, but. . .

"The description of this fragrance oil said no acceleration, no ricing. Imagine my surprise when I got both the first time I attempted cold process soap using this fragrance. I put the first ruined batch up to some error on my part. Did the exact same recipe the day after, got the same result. Thinking stupidity on my own part, I did the exact same recipe a third time, this time not adding the fragrance oil. No ricing, no acceleration. For melt and pour you should be okay, but as far as cold process, run far and run fast!"

The Best!

"Every year, for the past 4 years, I've made soap with this scent, and I end up selling all of it, and still having people ask for more! One of my favorite scents from this company :)"

Not what I expected

"I used this in CP soap with 1/2 water, 1/2 wine as liquids. The fragrance is best described as grape cough medicine. I am hoping it fades over time so I can salvage some of it."
