"The scent itself is lovely, but unfortunately, it doesn’t really smell like true Nag Champa to me. It has a soft, slightly sweet incense fragrance that’s pleasant and delicate, but it’s missing that distinctive rich, warm, resinous, woody-floral depth I associate with traditional Nag Champa. My biggest issue, however, is the strength. Even straight from the bottle the fragrance is quite subtle, and once incorporated into soap or candle wax, it seems to almost disappear. I purchased this specifically for soap and candle making, so I was hoping for a fragrance oil with enough concentration and staying power to carry through the finished product. It’s a pretty scent on its own, and I actually enjoy it, but I would describe it more as a light, sweet incense fragrance than an authentic Nag Champa. Unfortunately, for candle or soap making, the scent throw and overall strength just aren’t there for me."
