"I can't believe how awesome this dye is. I had been using a dye and had to use so much to get a red color, and it still was not as bright or vibrant as this dye is! I recently switched waxes, and found that my old dye never lost its smell in the wax—I could smell more dye than fragrance oil in my candles and melts. And it smelled really unnatural and chemical-ly—unacceptable! So I found this one, and I am just blown away! NO smell, love that it's natural, and my candles are a bright beautiful true red!!!!! It lends just a bit to a pink red more than a brown red—in my opinion, it's perfect for like a strawberry melt, but for an apple cinnamon I might add a hint of orange or brown to deepen it just a bit! But wow, I will only be ordering from Nature's Garden for my dyes from this point on!"

"Hi I have made candles for over twenty years now and I really like this red dye for candles it is bright and doesn't fade . I have tried many other red dye and they ether fade or turned pink or a orange redish color anything but red this is a true red and I love it. so if your looking for a true red this is it."

does the dye migrate?
When used properly, our dyes don't usually migrate. Soy wax is more prone to this, however, especially with certain colors.
Bit of an unusual question. I am making massage candles, and I am looking for a candle dye or a way to color the candle that is skin safe. I tried mica powders and it seems to settle out to the bottom of the jar. Do you have any skin safe candle dye?
Great question! We do not recommend color in massage candles. Colors available for candles are wax soluble and not consider skin safe. Thank you for reaching out!
