Not sure of how I feel about it yet

"Giving it 5 stars… (from the other reviews basically) and hoping that the rootbeer scent comes out in my soap while it is curing. Objectively. . I opened the bottle and it smells just like rootbeer. Yummy!! I followed the IFRA guidelines and used 3. 5% … not the whole 5% which is the max. Usage rate. Honestly. . it smelled like turpentine when I added it to my soap. I just cut it today and it still smells “off” like turpentine. Hoping that as it cures, I get that “rootbeer” scent back."

Smells amazing, does rice

"I used this fragrance oil in CP soap around 2 years ago, and then again recently. The first time, it slowed down trace and left the soap pretty soft. This time, it riced pretty heavily, but I was able to use my stick blender to blend it out. It left the perfect texture for my layered root beer soap. It smells amazing, and the smell is strong!"

"This smells exactly like root beer barrels! Scent stays strong in cold process, at. 75oz per pound of oil, be prepared to move quickly, or soap at room temp. Piping the top, was a breeze! It thickened just enough to hold it's shape. After trying a couple of sample bottles, I ordered an 8oz bottle to make more!"

Not great in CP soap; awesome in bath bombs!

"I was hoping this would be a true rootbeer scent in my CP soap, but (while it is great OOB), it morphed in my CP soap (room temp). Sigh! The strength of the scent was good. . . it just didn't smell like rootbeer to me anymore. But, all was not lost because it was a total hit in the bath bombs! Super fun! So, I'll be getting more FO and just not using it in my CP soap."
