Great Scent

"I has a customer request for a Sandalwood scent. I made a loaf of CP soap and sold out real quick. This scent soon became real popular in our laundry line as well."

No scent retention in CP

"It smells great OOB, although I personally didn't smell any rose notes. But it rapidly & progressively disappears once saponified. 6 weeks later there's hardly any scent at all, it's very mild. It also had a powdery note to it. Otherwise, it behaved fairly well while mixing with slight acceleration. I'll try the other sandalwood fragrance next time for sure."

Bad batch?

"After reading reviews I was really anxious for this FO! OOB it was so weak I couldn't even detect a scent. . . at all! However I went ahead and put it in paradoy tarts, let them cure for maybe a week or more and still no scent. I'm thinking maybe I got a bad batch or maybe where it was just a 1oz sample. I love Sandalwood scent and was very let down by this scent. I still give 3 stars for the shipping and services from NG!"

Great Scent!

"This fragrance oil exceeded my expectations! I just made a fresh batch of olive oil bar soap and I can smell it as I type. It worked very well with my recipe and I recommend this to anyone who is a sandalwood lover like myself. I will buy this again for sure."

Too light, doesn't last

"I bought this on sale because I had used up my sandalwood from another supplier. I used it in my HP soap at the end of the cook the same way I have done with FO from the other supplier. The fragrance was weak and now 1 week later it's barely there. Also, this fragrance isn't as musky as my other sandalwood was. This one is a little sweeter and floral. It's pleasant, but it isn't sandalwood to me. My previous sandalwood was great as a unisex scent, held up well and lasted forever in my soap. This one is more feminine, almost baby-powdery. I guess it's good that I bought 2 bottles because I'm going to have to add the maximum amount to get any scent at all."

Very masculine scent

"Very earthy, very masculine scent. Not overpowering, but not so subtle that you can't tell it's there either. Looking forward to how this will hold up in my soap products."
