20. Step 1: The Water Phase: Weigh out at least 850 grams of distilled water. While you will not need quite this much, some will evaporate. It is better to have too much than not enough. Place the water into a pot and place the pot on the stove top. Heat your water to at least 180F. You want to keep the water at this temperature for 20 minutes. The heat will destroy any bacteria that is in the water. While you are waiting, fill a tea bag with the aloe vera powder. Now, remove the water from the heat source. Then, weigh out 706 grams of distilled water. To the weighed out water, add your tea bag.

21. Step 2: The Oil Phase: Now, in a small pot, weigh out all of the following ingredients: Argan Oil, Fractionated Coconut Oil, Stearic Acid, Silky Emulsifying Wax, and Mango Butter. In a second larger pot, add tap water. You should only need to add a few inches. Next, place the pot filled with water on the stove top over medium heat. Place your smaller pot, containing the oils, butters, and waxes, into the larger pot to create a double boiler. Then, heat the ingredients to 140F, stirring occasionally as they are melting.

22. Step 3: The Mixing Phase: Make sure that both your water and oil mixture are around 140F. Then, place them both into a deep mixing bowl. Finally, use your stick blender to blend mix them together. As you are mixing, you will notice the mixture turning white in color This means your lotion is starting to emulsify.

23. Step 4: The Cool Down Phase: When your body cream mixture has cooled to 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Once the temperature of the cream has cooled to this temperature, add the Optiphen, Vitamin E Oil, and Orchid Rain Fragrance Oil. Then, use your stick blender to mix your ingredients together. As your aloe cream cools, it will thicken. As the cream is cooling, stick blend periodically. Finally, once the almond cream reaches room temperature, place it in your jars and place lids on top.
