Just Do It. . .

"If you need to use lotion but hate that greasy feeling, this one's for you: lightweight, foamy, moisturizing--my whole family loves it, even my husband. Oddly, my daughter suddenly just sniffs hers because she doesn't want to use it all up. How does that make any sense? But that brings me to the scent, it is a comforting cocoa--light enough to layer over with other fragrances. You won't smell like a chocolate pie. I actually bought the fragrance oil after using this kit. Thank you."

"I brought this kit to try my hand at making a lotion. Not only did I nail it lol, it inspired me to create more and try cream formulations. I followed the instructions and the video. I was so surprised how easy it was. I also used some of my other NG fragrances I have instead of the fragrance it came with. They smell fabulous! Thank you for the inspiration. "I loved this lotion! Light, creamy and not greasy but still moisturizing. The Butter Brickle scent is nice and if you use the recommended amount, not too strong. Love, love, love it!"

A learning experience

"I didn't realize it would take so long to thicken and probably shouldn't have started just before bedtime. It took about an hour to make(first time lotion maker) and I ended up putting the mixing bowl in an ice bath. I should have done more research beforehand because I thought I was doing something wrong when it wouldn't thicken, I had to hop on youtube to figure out it just needed to cool to thicken. I don't love the fragrance, or perhaps it's just the smell of the lotion itself, but I'm sure that's just opinion and I can give these away, as it smells similar to an expensive french lotion I was given. It also stings on my chapped hands (it's winter in Michigan, dry, chapped skin is in season). Overall a nice introduction to lotion making. Excited to try the other kit I purchased."
