Scoopable Wax Melts Recipe

Weigh out 16 ounces of the Joy Wax. Melt the wax using a double boiler.

Add one drop of the burgundy candle colorant and stir.

Next, add 2.8 ounces of either the Flamingo Zest or NG Cancan Type Fragrance Oil. Once again, stir to incorporate the candle scent.

To the melted wax, add 12 ounces of the fractionated coconut oil. Stir to blend the ingredients together.

Finally, add 1 tablespoon of the Diamond Dust Mica and stir.

As the mixture begins to cool, it will thicken. Continue to stir periodically.

Pour the mixture into the 4 ounce jars and allow it to continue setting up. Since you are using plastic jars, you want the temperature to be around 130 degrees Fahrenheit or lower when pouring.

Once your wax has completely set up, place a lid on each jar and allow the scoopable wax to cure for at least 48 hours before using.
