Wintery Candy Apple Wax Melts Recipe

Step 1

Clean and sanitize your work area and all of your packaging materials. It is suggested that you wear gloves, protective clothing, and a hair net while preparing this recipe.

Step 2

Prepare the apple embeds using flexible molds. Weigh out and melt 216 grams of Pillar of Bliss Candle Wax using a double boiler. Allow the temperature to reach 195F.

Step 3

Add 2 grams of a Red Nature Friendly Color Block. Allow the temperature of the wax to drop to 180F and add 21 grams of the Wintery Candy Apple Fragrance Oil. Mix thoroughly to incorporate the fragrance.

Step 4

Once the temperature drops to 175F pour into the flexible apple molds. Allow them to set up completely. Once set up remove the apples from the molds.

Step 5

While waiting for the apple embeds to set up prepare the snow. Weigh out 6 grams of Pillar of Bliss. Set aside for future step

Step 6

Once the apple embeds are set up and removed from the molds. Now, it s time to prepare the red layer of the wax tart bases. Weigh out and melt 108 grams of the Pillar of Bliss Candle Wax. Melt the wax using a double boiler until 195F temperature is reached.

Step 7

Once 195F is reached add about 1 gram of the red color block stir to blend the colorant. Then, allow the temperature to drop to 180F and add 10 grams of the Wintery Candy Apple Fragrance Oil. Stir well to incorporate the fragrance.

Step 8

When the temperature drops to 175F pour the wax into each cavity of the silicone mini muffin mold about full. Allow this layer to set up and move to the white layer.

Step 9

Now, weigh out and melt 216 grams of Pillar of Bliss in a double boiler. When the temperature is at 180F add 21 grams of the Wintery Candy Apple Fragrance Oil. Once the surface starts to slightly set up, press the apple embed into the center of the tart.

Step 10

Next, using the unscented Pillar of Bliss Candle Wax, add about 1 gram to each of the tarts surface to give the appearance of snow. Allow the wax to set up completely.

Step 11

Remove the wax melts from the mold and allow them to cure.

Step 12
