Quick delivery and great products
"Quick delivery and great products"
Easy to use, great moisturizing formula
"This was my first experience ever using melt-and-pour, and it went really well! The slab comes already scored, so it was easy for me to cut it into 1-inch cubes with a sharp chef's knife. I had some difficulty in the beginning because I tried to warm it up on the stove, and it got kind of gummy and stringy. However, once I put it in a big glass bowl and put it in the microwave as directed, it melted beautifully! I poured the mixture into silicone molds and let them cool for 4 hours, and I had no problem getting them out. The detail came out beautifully. I gave the finished soaps as gifts, and the feedback has been positive from both the men and women who received them. Everyone says it lathers well and doesn't dry out their skin, and makes them feel both clean and moisturized."
Love this base! Works great
"Love this base! Works great for all!!! Butters, lotions, and body sprays!"
Buying this was a big mistake and waste of money!
"I purchased the Cocoa Melt and Pour soap base on sale. I thought it was going to be the "Stephenson" brand that I was buying, but I was mistaken. I carefully melted it in equally cut pieces in a microwave in a few 10 sec. intervals, and it turned into a monster! Forget about trying to add fragrance or mica, it was impossible to barely get it out of my pyrex measuring bowl after heating it. I'm just sorry that I bought 4 pounds! I am an experienced Soaper and sell soap as a business. A deal is no deal if the product sucks, and this one does. I will pay more $ for now on and only buy "Stephenson" brand melt and pour."
not good quality
"another soap 20lbs gummy when melting hard to get going and i wont buy this again its just poor qaulity mp the mango is the best of all of them seriously dissapointed"

Sets up fast
"I like cocoa butter soap so I wanted to give this a try. I'm glad I did. Wow, I love how it lathers, my skin felt soft and moisturized after my shower. It does set up fast as others had said. I had a hard time removing from my plastic molds. I finally used a hair dryer to heat a little and they finally released with no problems. I would buy again."
Set crazy fast
"This was a nice base except for the fact that it set ridiculously fast. I like the soap I was able to make with it, however since it set so fast I was unable to really do any designs or layering with it."
Q&A
- Can this be melted using a double boiler or other non-microwave method?
- Yes, you can melt MP soap with a double boiler.
- What are all of the ingredients? Want to make sure not allergic to anything.
- Hi! This information had been added.
- Is this just Cocoa butter?
- Hi Destree, this is a pre-made soap base that contains cocoa butter as an ingredient. You simply melt the base, add your fragrance/colorant/additives, and pour into a mold. It's ready once it sets!
- Can I use the cocoa butter m&p for lotion?
- Hi Elizabeth, Melt & Pour soap bases will not perform well as lotion and should be used as soap. We recommend using one of our lotion bases instead.
