"The kit seemed appealing and I was curious to try a coconut mango wax mix. Familiar with coconut wax that gives a good scent throw, was curious about the blend. I liked the look of the jars and felt the bamboo lids gave it a higher end look. Received the kit and thought the scent was very nice. Something about it gave you that Xmas season feel without being that typical Xmas scent. Clean, fresh, can easily be used as a winter scent. That's where the good ends. You receive 6 jars, and enough to make six jar candles. The jars are 10 oz (I believe) the instructions tell you to pour 5. 3 oz. That pour, barely would fill a jar over half way. So I decided to have an empty jar and make 5. The wood wicks, that come in different sizes was completely too tall for the jars, they could have included wood wicks a bit closer to the size jars. The lovely bamboo lids. . . I'm not sure if it's the rubber seals or I just got a bad batch. They don't stay sealed, they keep popping up from the jar. I let them cure and tonight put one to the test. There is no scent throw, when burning. So can't say if it's a wax thing or the fragrance oil. The wood wicks are poor quality and instead of burning nicely. It has already gone out. It been a few years, but I have made and bought from NG wood Wicks. Never had an issue. These wicks are thin and don't burn properly. I gave a 2 star because the scent is nice and the jars and lids are nice. That said, don't waste your time or money. What good is a nice fragrance oil if you only smell it when you are making the candles. What good is a nice jar with lid if the lid doesn't stay in place."
