Step 1

1. Clean and sanitize your work area as well as your packaging. When melting your candle wax, we recommend using a double boiler. Add a few inches of water to your pot and place it on the stovetop on medium heat. When melting the wax, place your pouring pot inside this pot.

2. Prepare your jars. To each tumbler jar, adhere a large wooden wick. Place the mason jar lid with the opening facing up. Then, place your jar at a tilt inside the lid. If the jars feel unstable or wobbly, it is not properly placed. Try again. You want to make sure it is not at risk of falling when you pour your wax.

Step 3

3. Weigh out and melt 255 grams of the Joy Wax to 200F. Also, add 5-10 drops of the Nature Friendly Brown Liquid Candle Dye. Stir periodically as the wax is melting and once fully melted.

Step 4

4. Once the temperature of the wax drops to 170-175F, add 25 grams of the Pipe Tobacco Fragrance Oil. Stir.

Step 5

5. Allow the temperature to drop to 160-165F. With the jars in a tilted position, pour approximately 42 grams into each of the jars. Allow to fully set up before moving on.

Step 6

6. Weigh out and melt 170 grams of the Joy Wax to 200F. Stir periodically as the wax is melting and once fully melted.

Step 7

7. Once the temperature of the wax drops to 170-175F, add 17 grams of the Pipe Tobacco Fragrance Oil. Stir.

Step 8

8. Allow the temperature to drop to 160-165F. With the jars in a tilted position, pour approximately 28 grams into each of the jars. Allow to fully set up before moving on.

Step 9

9. Set your jar flat in your work area for the last layer.

Step 10

10. Weigh out and melt 850 grams of the Joy Wax to 200F. Also, add 5-10 drops of the Nature Friendly Golden Honey Liquid Candle Dye. Stir periodically as the wax is melting and once fully melted.

Step 11

11. Once the temperature of the wax drops to 170-175F, add 85 grams of the Pipe Tobacco Fragrance Oil. Stir.

Step 12

12. Allow the temperature to drop to 160-165F. fill the remainder of the jar. Allow to fully set up before moving on.

Step 13

13. Trim your wick, place a warning label on the bottom of the jar. Add a lid and let the candles cure for at least 48 hours before burning.
