Step 1

Clean & Sanitize your work area and all of your packaging materials. It is suggested that you wear gloves, protective clothing, and a hair net while preparing this recipe.

Step 2

First, weigh out and use a double boiler to melt the 100% soy wax, cocoa butter, coconut oil, shea butter, and mango butter. Stir occasionally.

Step 3

Then, in a medium sized mixing bowl, weigh out 34 grams of Rose Blooms and Lychee Fragrance Oil. We will come back to this in a later step. Set it aside for now.

Step 4

Once the ingredients in the double boiler have melted, remove them from heat source and stir them slowly.

Step 5

Now, pour the wax and butters into the bowl that contains the fragrance oil. Stir slowly to blend the ingredients together.

Step 6

With your tins in an area where they can setup undisturbed, pour the mixture into four of the tins.

Step 7

Let the mixture set up slightly. Straighten a wick and carefully place it into the tin. Place a wick in each of the four tins.

Step 8

Allow your massage candles to set up fully. Then, trim your wicks and place a lid on each of the tins.

Step 9

Once the candles have finished setting up, light the candle. Once it has melted, blow out the candle. Allow to cool so that the mixture is not too hot before using.

To Use

Light the massage candle, let it melt into warm oil, then extinguish the flame and gently pour or scoop the melted wax onto the skin for a soothing massage. Use only when warm. You do not want to the oil to be hot.
