Step 1

Clean and sanitize your work area and all of your packaging materials. It is suggested that you wear gloves, protective clothing, a face mask, safety glasses, and a hair net while preparing this recipe. If you have not made CP soap before, it is imperative that you become familiar with soap making safety and the soap making process.

Step 2

Prepare your lye solution. Weigh out 338 grams distilled water. To the water, add 160 grams sodium hydroxide. Never add the water to the sodium hydroxide. Allow to cool to room temperature.

Step 3

In a separate bowl, weigh out and melt your soaping oils. You will need 339 grams Coconut Oil 76, 189 grams Sunflower Oil, 171 grams Palm Oil, 159 grams Mango Butter, 147 grams Shea Butter, 78 grams Apricot Oil, and 42 grams Castor Oil. Allow to cool to room temperature.

Step 4

Prepare your color. In one small mixing bowl, add 2 grams of the Yellow Blast. In a second bowl, add 2 grams of the Orange Flare. In the third bowl, add 5 grams of the Titanium Dioxide. Add a small amount of your soaping oils to each bowl. Stir the contents of each bowl.

Step 5

Combine your soaping oils and lye solution. Stick blend to emulsify.

Step 6

Add 32 grams Bermuda Triangle OR Calypso Citrus Circus Fragrance Oil. Stir.

Step 7

21. Divide the soap batter into three equal portions. Add one of the colors to each bowl and stir each one until blended.

Step 8

Place your mold in front of you. Start with your orange batter. Pour several vertical lines of soap batter about 2 inches apart. Next, pour several lines of the yellow batter next to the orange soap batter in the same manner. Finally, pour several lines of your white soap batter next to the yellow batter.

Step 9

Repeat the previous step until you have used all of your soap batter.

Step 10

Now you will need your wooden skewer. Place it in the upper left corner of your soap mold. Draw a horizontal line across the mold, then move the skewer down about one inch and draw a horizontal line in the other direction. Move your skewer down about an inch and go back in the other direction. Repeat this process until you have reached the bottom of the mold. Take the skewer out of the mold and set it aside.

Step 11

After 24-48 hours remove the soap from the mold. Cut the soap and allow it to cure before using.
