Directions

Step 1

1. Prepare your leaf embeds. We used three to four leaves for each candle. We left the leaves unscented. Weigh out 1 oz of the Pillar of Bliss Candle Wax. Melt the wax to 195F using a double boiler.

2. Divide the wax into three equal portions. To one portion, use a toothpick to add a small amount of the golden honey colorant and stir. Pour the wax into the 8 cavities of leaves mold. To the second portion, use a toothpick to add a small amount of the orange liquid colorant. Stir. Pour the wax into six empty cavities of the mini leaves mold. Finally, add the brown dye to the last portion. Stir and pour it into the remaining empty cavities.

Step 3

3. Once set up, remove them from the mold and set them aside, for now.

Step 4

4. Prepare your candle jars. Use a wick sticker to adhere a candle wick to each of your six jars.

5. Weigh out 486 grams of the Joy Wax. Use a double boiler to melt the wax to 200F.

Step 6

6. Add 1 drop of the cinnamon Nature-Friendly Liquid Candle Dye. Stir.

Step 7

7. Allow the temperature to drop to 175F. Add 48 grams of the Fresh Fallen Leaves Fragrance Oil and stir.

Step 8

8. When the temperature has dropped to 165F, pour 89 grams of the wax into each jar.

Step 9

9. Use a wick bar to center and stabilize each wick. Allow the wax to fully set up before moving on.

Step 10

10. Weigh out 486 grams of the Joy Wax. Use a double boiler to melt the wax to 200F.

Step 11

11. Add 1 drop of the golden honey Nature-Friendly Liquid Candle Dye. Stir.

Step 12

12. Allow the temperature to drop to 175F. Add 48 grams of the Fresh Fallen Leaves Fragrance Oil and stir.

Step 13

13. When the temperature has dropped to 165F, pour 89 grams of the wax into each jar.

Step 14

14. Use a wick bar to center and stabilize each wick. Allow the wax to fully set up before moving on.

Step 15

15. Weigh out 210 grams of the Joy Wax. Use a double boiler to melt.

Step 16

16. Allow the temperature to drop to 175F. Add 48 grams of the Fresh Fallen Leaves Fragrance Oil and stir.

Step 17

17. When the temperature has dropped to 165F, pour 35 grams of the wax into each jar.

Step 18

18. When the wax is mostly set up but still warm and soft, add three to four leaves to the top of each candle. Press them in slightly.

Step 19

19. Use a wick bar to center and stabilize each wick until it has finished setting up.

Step 20

20. Trim each wick to 0.25 inches. Add a warning label and lid to each jar.

Step 21

21. Once cured, your candle will be ready to use. We recommend curing for at least 48 hours.
