Golden Brands 464 Candle Recipe

Step 1

1. Prepare your wicks. You will need to add a wick tab sustainer to each of your wooden wicks. Place a wick in each of your jars.

2. Weigh out 384 grams of your Golden Brands 464 soy wax. Place the wax in your pouring pot. Also, add a small amount of one of the color blocks in the color of your choice. We used less than 1 gram of our color block to create a pastel shade.

Step 3

3. Allow the wax to melt to 185F. Stir occasionally as the wax is melting. Once at 185F stir to endure that the color is fully blended with the wax.

Step 4

4. Remove the wax from the heat. Add 25 grams of one of your fragrance oil. Stir to blend.

Step 5

5. Allow the temperature to drop to 110F. Divide the wax evenly between two of your jars.

Step 6

6. Allow the candles to set up. Trim the wicks to 1/8", place a lid on each jar, and allow the candles to cure.

Step 7

7. Repeat this process to create the remaining candles.
