9. Coloring Amounts:

10. Prior to starting, prepare your mica pigments. They will need to be mixed with vegetable glycerin prior to being added to the soap. To prepare the gold, mix 3 grams 24K gold mica with 6 grams vegetable glycerin. To prepare the diamond dust, mix 4 grams diamond dust with 15 grams vegetable glycerin. They are now ready to add to your soap base. Below, when referring to Diamond Dust and 24K Gold we are giving you the amounts of the mixtures you will add. In some cases, when only needing a small amount, we dipped a toothpick in our colorant and placed the toothpick into our soap to add the color.

37. Clean & Sanitize your work area and all of your packaging materials. It is suggested that you wear gloves, protective clothing, and a hair net while preparing this recipe.

38. Step 1: For this recipe each batch will create 3 lip shaped soaps. Above, you will find a color guide to achieve the color you would like to create.

39. Step 2: Use a scale to weigh out 300 grams of Diamond Clear melt and pour soap.

40. Step 3: Melt the soap base in the microwave in 30 second bursts. You want to heat the soap until it is fully melted.

41. Step 4: Now, add 15 grams of You Sexy Thing You Fragrance Oil. Mix to incorporate the fragrance oil.

42. Step 5: Now, add you colorant and mix well. Remember, refer to the guide above for coloring suggestions.

43. Step 6: Pour the soap into the mold. Then, spray the backs with rubbing alcohol. This will remove any air bubbles.

44. Step 7: Remove the soap from the molds once they have setup.

45. Your metallic soaps are now ready to use! Enjoy!
