Step 8

8. Step 1: Using the double boiler method weigh out and melt 20 grams of beeswax. Stir this occasionally.

Step 9

9. Step 2: Once your beeswax is completely melted, add 1 drop of Spectrum Green Candle Dye. Then, stir to incorporate the color. While you are waiting for it to melt, place the shamrock mold in oven on the lowest temperature that your oven will allow. You want to warm the mold, this will allow the beeswax to cool slowly as it sets up. This is important so that the setup shamrock is flexible. If it cools too quickly it will likely crack.

Step 10

10. Step 3: Next, remove your beeswax from the heat source. Weigh out 2 grams of NG Aloe and White Lilac Fragrance Oil. Add this to the beeswax. Stir.

Step 11

11. Step 4: Slowly pour a thin layer of beeswax into two cavities of the shamrock mold. Note: these will be very thin layers of wax. You will not need to fill the mold.

Step 12

12. Step 5: Allow the shamrocks to fully set up naturally and as slowly as possible. Once the beeswax hardens, remove it carefully from the mold.

Step 13

13. Step 6: While you are waiting for the shamrocks to set up, weigh out 510 grams of 464 soy wax. Place this into the double boiler and let it melt. Also, go ahead and use your oven to warm your candle jar as well. On the lowest setting, warm your jar in the oven. Again, it does not need to be super hot, just warm. It will only take a few minutes.

Step 14

14. Step 7: Next, adhere your wicks to the bottom of your jar using a hot glue gun. We used 2 CD 10 candle wicks.

Step 15

15. Step 8: Then, place the beeswax shamrocks into your jar. Apply slight and even pressure until they stick to your jar.

Step 16

16. Step 9: When your soy wax is melted, remove it from the heat source. Then, add 50 grams of NG Aloe and White Lilac Fragrance Oil. Stir.

Step 17

17. Step 10: Now wait until the temperature of the soy wax drops to 110 degrees Fahrenheit. Then, pour the wax into your candle jar. Straighten your wicks, and allow the candle to fully set up.

Step 18

18. Your Saint Patricks Day Candle is now ready to use! Enjoy!
