Step 1

Prepare your embeds. Weigh out and melt 350 grams of the Pillar of Bliss Candle Wax to 195F. While the wax is melting, also add about 5-10 drops of the ivory candle dye to achieve a pie crust color. Stir to incorporate the color.

Step 2

Once your wax is melted, let the temperature drop to 180F. Add 35 grams of the Strawberry Rhubarb Pie Fragrance Oil. Stir.

Step 3

Allow the temperature to drop to 150F. Fill 6 cavities of the waffle mold with the melted wax. Allow the waffles to set up before removing them from the mold. Set these aside, for now.

Step 4

Prepare your tins by adhering an HTP-104 wick to the bottom center of each 8 oz tin.

Step 5

Weigh out 750 grams of the 464 Soy Wax and melt it to 185F in a double boiler.

Step 6

Once your wax is melted, add 75 grams of the Strawberry Rhubarb Pie Fragrance Oil. Stir.

Step 7

Next, let the temperature drop to 110F. Pour the wax into your tins. Each tin will need to be filled approximately 3/4 of the way with the melted wax. Center each wick and secure each in place with a bow tie wick bar. Allow the wax to set up.

Step 8

You will need to put a hole in the center of each waffle you created. You can do this with a votive wick pin. We recommend running the tip of the wick pin under hot running water to warm it prior to creating the hole. This will allow the wick pin to easily slide through the wax. You may need to rewarm the pin in between each candle.

Step 9

The waffle will act as the pie top. Simply thread the wick through the hole you created and slide it down to sit on top of the candle. Do this with all 6 candles.

Step 10

Weigh out and melt 90 grams of the 464 soy wax to 185F along with about 3 drops of the red liquid candle dye. Stir as the wax is melting. Once melted completely you also want to make sure the colorant has fully and evenly blended.

Step 11

Add 9 grams of the Strawberry Rhubarb Pie. Stir.

Step 12

When the temperature of the wax has dropped to about 130F. Use a pipette to fill each square of the waffle tops.
